A Few Short Words on the 3rd Annual CIR Convention

The California Impact Republicans (CIR) held it’s 3rd Annual Convention this past Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Buena Park at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel. After a study session with marketing strategist Jim McComb, CIR members and guests enjoyed a delicious lunch consisting of Mrs. Knott’s famous chicken dinner. Guest speakers were CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Patterson and Assemblyman Jay Obernolte, 33rd District. Speaking first was CAGOP Chairwoman Jessica Patterson who spoke of Republican strategy for upcoming elections which is currently being rolled out to county central committees. The future looks good under her leadership. Assemblyman Jay Obernolte also spoke some about current strategy but also spoke about what is happening with this new governor and legislature. After the speakers, a few awards were handed out and presentations were made to the outgoing board members. New board members were voted in and slight changes to the bylaws were made. It was an informative and exciting convention which left CIR members very enthusiastic and eager to make an impact in California!
